Kara Broyles: Helping Little Learners Reach Their Full Potential

Kara Broyles is the kind of kindergarten teacher who pours her whole heart into her students each and every day. Now in her second year as a designated TIA teacher, Kara continues to make a tremendous impact by meeting students where they are, helping fill learning gaps, and encouraging every child to reach their full potential.
For Kara, receiving the Teacher Incentive Allotment has been a humbling experience because she knows how hard her students work daily. She sees the growth, determination, and effort her young learners put forth, and she remains committed to giving them every opportunity to succeed.
The TIA allotment has also allowed Kara to directly reinvest into her classroom and students. Through those funds, she has been able to purchase additional instructional resources and create more engaging station activities to support learning. Even with rising costs, the allotment has helped her continue providing rewards and prizes that motivate and celebrate her students’ accomplishments throughout the year.
Outside of the classroom, one of Kara’s greatest joys is her sweet grandson, Bryson Hayes, who proudly gave her the title of “Nana.” Family and teaching are clearly at the center of her life, and both shine through in the warmth and care she brings into her classroom each day.
Celeste ISD is grateful for Kara Broyles and the incredible difference she continues to make for some of our youngest Blue Devils.
