Celeste Independent School District

The district may close schools due to severe weather, epidemics, or other emergency conditions. When such conditions exist, the Superintendent will make the official decision concerning the closing of the district’s facilities. When it becomes necessary to open late, to release students early, or to cancel school, district officials will notify families via ParentSquare communications and post notifications on the district’s web site and the CISD Facebook. 

We ask all Parents and Guardians to take a moment to verify that their contact information is up to date in the Ascender Parent Portal. All ParentSquare call-out alerts, texts and email notifications from Celeste ISD are sent using the contact information listed there.

Celeste ISD Family- We are continuing to closely monitor the current and forecasted weather conditions. Any decisions regarding the school day for Monday will be made early on Sunday to allow families time to plan accordingly.

Once a decision is made, we will notify families through a Parent Square call-out, post updates on our website, and share information with local TV stations.
