Meghan Coursey: Helping Students Grow with Confidence and Purpose

In just three years of teaching, Megan Coursey has already made a meaningful impact on the students and community of Celeste ISD. A graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education, Megan has spent her entire teaching career at Celeste — a place she says has always felt like home.
For Megan, the relationships she has built with both coworkers and students are what make Celeste truly special. She values being part of a community that supports one another, celebrates successes together, and works as a team to make a difference in students’ lives. Watching students grow both inside and outside the classroom is what makes her work so rewarding.
As both a classroom teacher and FFA Advisor, Megan has helped students step outside of their comfort zones, discover their passions, and build confidence in themselves. Whether preparing for competitions, developing leadership skills, or helping students pursue scholarships and future careers in agricultural science, she has found her “why” in watching students succeed and realize their own potential.
Megan strives to create a classroom where every student feels supported, valued, and encouraged to be themselves. She wants students to know they are capable of success regardless of their background or experience level. Alongside that, she hopes to help students develop a genuine understanding and appreciation for agriculture and the important role it plays in everyday life.
Through her passion, encouragement, and heart for students, Megan Coursey is helping shape confident young leaders and continuing the strong tradition of agricultural education at Celeste ISD.
