Paris Walker has been a member of the Celeste FFA for the past 10 years. Throughout her time in this organization, she served as the District 2 President and as the President of the Celeste FFA Chapter. She competed at the state level in junior prepared public speaking, FFA broadcasting, as well as livestock and wool judging.  “The FFA has molded me into the person that I am today. This organization has allowed me to grow more confidence in myself and in my ability to serve others,” Paris stated.  “I will be attending Texas Tech University in the fall and major in Agricultural and Applied Economics with hopes to work in a related field where I can utilize my background in the FFA to impact our agricultural industry.”  Paris recently applied and interviewed for an FFA State Scholarship, and Celeste FFA is proud to announce that she was awarded a Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Scholarship in the amount of $20,000.  Paris will be recognized on stage during the 95^th Texas FFA State Convention in July.
