Celeste Independent School District

Celeste FFA members spent the week of April 24-29, 2023, at the Hunt County Fair.  FFA members exhibited animals in all livestock categories, volunteered for special needs day, showed ag mech projects, and participated in the livestock judging contest.  Celeste FFA highlights of the 2023 Fair included Overall Supreme Champion Heifer exhibited by Madisyn Douglas, Grand Champion Swine exhibited by Michael Connelly, and senior FFA members, Preslee Minter received a $750 Phil Garrett Memorial Scholarship and Paris Walker received a $1000 Phil Garrett Memorial Scholarship.  Celeste secured 9 sale slots in the Hunt County Fair of Champions.  Congratulations to all FFA members and their families for the hard work, commitment and dedication that went into preparing these projects for the fair.
