FFA member Madisyn Douglas hauled eight head of Santa Gertrudis cattle to the State Fair show including 2 bulls, 5 heifers and 1 cow-calf pair.  She most certainly had her hands full taking care of her cattle which included washing, brushing, feeding and watering each day!  She also assisted in the showring during the open and junior shows as the National Santa Gertrudis Queen.  Even with her busy schedule, Madisyn took time to answer questions and talk about her cattle to curious fairgoers.  Congrats to Madisyn and her bull, Hurricane J33, for winning Reserve Calf Champion at the Pan American Santa Gertrudis Show.
