Celeste Independent School District

The National Santa Gertrudis Show was held in Texarkana, Arkansas on June 19-25, 2022.  Celeste FFA member, Madisyn Douglas, attended, and she was crowned the National Junior Santa Gertrudis Queen for 2022-2023!  In addition to winning the national queen title, Madisyn was 5^th in the photo contest, 4^th in livestock judging, 4^th in the Advertising Contest, 5^th in class with her heifer, Honolulu, and 1^st in class with her bred and owned Star 5 heifer, Maine Girl.  Madisyn also secured her position as District 1 National Director for 2022-2024.  Congratulations to Madisyn for working extra hard, staying focused and achieving her goals!
