Celeste Independent School District

The District 2 FFA Convention was held on April 19, 2021 at Farmersville High School.  Luke Beadles, Justin Richey, Madisyn Douglas, Paris Walker, Raegan Sumrow and Kloe Walker represented Celeste FFA at the meeting.  Justin Richey finished up his year long run as District 2 Secretary, and Kloe Walker was there representing the Area 5 Association as Sentinel.  Raegan, Madisyn and Luke were on hand to receive the banners from the Fall Leadership Contest and serve as voting delegates.  To end the convention, twelve students from across the district ran for district office. Paris Walker was elected to serve the District 2 FFA association as the 2021-2022 President.  The process to become an Area officer includes an interview, test and concludes with a speech presented to the District 2 delegation and a vote.  “What a great honor for Paris and the Celeste FFA,” stated Ag teacher Stephen Dillard.
