Celeste Independent School District

Waylon Vidler had a great day for Celeste High School at the State Powerlifting meet, which was held in Abilene on March 26-27.  Vidler set personal records in all three lifts, with a 400lb Squat, 295lb Bench, and a 450lb Deadlift.  He finished 10th, which puts him in the top 10% of his weight class in the state.  “He left everything out there and gave it his all. We want to congratulate him for a fantastic season,” stated head powerlifting coach, Blair Elliot.
