The Blue Devils varsity basketball team recognized senior team players with a senior night celebration on Fri. Feb. 12, 2021.  Celeste High School seniors, Jared Sherwin, Thomas Powell, Tre Robinson, Damon Crook and Tyson Fielden and their families were announced as part of the starting lineup.  The team went on to win the district championship with a 68-44 win over the Bland Tigers.  The Blue Devils won the bi-district playoff game on Feb. 20th, in overtime against Collinsville by a score of 70-68.  Celeste advanced to the Area round and will play Linden-Kildare at Sulpher Springs High School on Wednesday, February 24 at 7:30 p.m.  Congratulations to the Blue Devils team, Head Basketball Coach Jeff Smith and Coaching Assistants Josh Spoonemore, Stephen Wilson and Justin Bennett.
