Celeste Independent School District

The fall 2019 livestock show season kicked off for Celeste FFA members on September 20^th in Tyler at the East Texas State Fair.  Raegan Sumrow and Madisyn Douglas participated in the junior breeding heifer show.  Raegan placed 1^st, 2^nd and 1^st in classes with her Red Brahman heifers.  Madisyn placed 2^nd and 2^nd in classes with her Santa Gertrudis heifers.  Raegan and Madisyn were both selected for the showmanship competition.  These young ladies will be exhibiting their heifers in October at the State Fair of Texas.
