Our mission is to provide every student access to knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for success in their homes, communities, and the global society.
OUR PROGRAM PURPOSE
CISD offers a comprehensive guidance counseling program whose purpose is to promote and enhance the learning process. The comprehensive school counseling program will support the mission of CISD and will be led by professional school counselors with the support of administrators, staff, parents and community members to focus on academic success, college/career information, and personal/social development. This program includes individual assistance in a proactive manner in response to students' needs. CISD's counseling program is based on the Texas Model for Comprehensive School Counseling Programs.
