JH Students Participate in Great Kindness Challenge

Kindness matters at Celeste Junior High School, and students were excited to demonstrate acts of kindness during the National Great Kindness Challenge Week, January 24-28, 2022.  This action-based initiative was a worldwide effort to promote a school culture of kindness, compassion, unity and respect.  The week kicked off at CJHS with a student created video in which students shared what kindness means to them and they included ways to show acts of kindness.  Throughout the week students promoted the kindness challenge by participating in dress up days, writing appreciation notes to staff members, picking up trash, saying thank you, and offering to help others.  As the National Kindness Week came to an end, CJH students wanted to encourage everyone to keep up the good work of showing kindness every day throughout the year!
