High School Robotics Team Competes at Vex Robotics Tower Takeover

Celeste High School Robotics did a great job competing Saturday, February 8, 2020, with VEX Robotics Competition Tower Takeover- Battle in the Big City. Celeste drove ahead of most of the 29 teams in the competition. In team alliances with other schools, Celeste’s advanced team made it to the semifinals, and the beginning team made it to round 16. Celeste ranked 9th and 16th respectively.  “Celeste showed great teamwork and alliances with schools from the Dallas and Fort Worth area. We're proud of the success and experiences learned with our first year competing in VEX Robotics. We appreciate the opportunity to bring a STEM program to Celeste High School. We look forward to next year. Great job Blue Devils!” stated robotics sponsor Wendy Ragle.   Members of the Celeste High School Robotics Team include the following: Michael Herman, Jaidyn Vankirk, Stephanie Gustafson, Toby Palmer, Aiden Giles, Faolin Wilhelm, Trinity Palmer, Diego Harrison, Libia Contreras, Ty Jackson, and Jackson Almand.  Celeste High School science teacher, Dustin Kinnison, and ELA teacher, Wendy Ragle, served as the robotics team sponsors.
