Illuminate, the theme of the 91st Texas FFA State Convention, was an inspirational, uplifting conference for all who attended. Celeste FFA members attended the convention which was held July 15-19 in Fort Worth. FFA members heard countless motivational speeches by state officers, sponsors and even the keynote speaker, Clint Pulver. Focusing around the illuminate theme, members learned how to shine and approach life with purpose and intent. Celeste FFA members have had a very prosperous year in 2018-19, and several members were recognized for their hard work and dedication during the conference. For a service project, Celeste FFA members and chapters from all over the state gathered art supplies and donated them to Cook Children’s Hospital. Members enjoyed fun and socializing at the Casey Donahew concert and on fun night they got to watch talent teams from all over the state. Members then got to socialize at the fun night dance. Several members spent the week serving on the delegate floor casting their votes for candidates, talent teams and attending business sessions.
