It was a special day for Jacklynn because she was able to meet and talk to Dr. John Pipkin. He is an equine professor and horse judging coach at West Texas A&M in Canyon. Jacklynn was recently accepted to WTAMU, and she is planning to attend in the fall.  She wants to be involved in the equine field, and she is considering joining the WTAMU horse judging team. She got to tour the newly built, amazing agriculture facility at WT.  Jacklynn became interested in WTAMU a couple of years ago during a judging trip.

Clarendon College judging day was on March 30th.  The weather turned off very cold in the night, so the judging conditions for the livestock team were challenging because many of the classes are outside.  There were 140 livestock teams in the contest and Kloe Walker, Jaxson Dillard, Jaycee Brown, and Raegan Sumrow placed 26th.  The high point team individual was Jaxson Dillard.  He was 59th out of 404 individuals.  Jacklynn was high point individual on her horse team of Maddie Hill and Cheylnn Hill.  Karalyn had another good day for the wool team.  She was 39th out of 120 individuals.  Justin Richey judged wool also and he placed 57th in the contest.
