Blue Devils are United in Pink

There was lots of pink at the Pink Out the tigers pep rally on October 12, 2018. Celeste ISD sold over 250 shirts across the community to raise over $1,200.00 for Janice’s Closet, which is funded by the Hunt Regional Healthcare Foundation in conjunction with Bras for the Cause. It is named in honor of Janice Weldon, who died in 2010 after dedicating her life to volunteering for multiple causes.  It was founded by local a businesswoman, Janeen Cunningham, and the volunteers of “Bras for the Cause” to provide these items free of charge to referred patients. With a staff of certified mastectomy fitters, they provide compression garments, wigs, treatment gowns and more for Hunt County women in need.  Drill team sponsor, Crystal Brown stated, “We are super proud that we are able to give back, and thanks so much to all the students and the community for supporting this cause!”
