Children must be five years of age on or before September 1 to enroll in kindergarten or six years of age on the first day of school to enter the first grade.

 Celeste Elementary offers a pre-kindergarten program.  Available space in this program is very limited.  Early inquiry is strongly suggested.  Children must be at least four years of age on or before September 1, unable to speak or comprehend the English language, or qualify for free and reduced meals. Students who qualify may attend tuition-free. 

 Celeste ISD does accept transfer students on a limited basis.  Enrollment is based on availability of classroom space, and students must have approval for admission through the superintendent’s office.  For further information, contact the campus principals.

• Immunization record signed by a doctor or clinic 

• Copy of social security card 

• Proof of residence including a recent utility bill 

• Most recent report card or grade transcript for those entering grades 2-12

• Withdrawal form from prior school
