Celeste
High School
Enjoys Holidays with a Bit of Decorating
By Nancy Longino
Students and staff at Celeste High School have been busy
with bows and ribbons and painting and constructing whole scenes with lights all
around. The principal at CHS, Mr. Ricky Beadles, initiated a friendly door
competition to be rewarded with a pizza party. In no time at all, the
competitive Blue Devil spirit appeared in everyone and it turned into a fiercely
imaginative door decorating contest to be designed and constructed by the
students in each first period class. What started out as a small thought turned
into an immensely fun and festive way of bringing out the creative side of some
incredibly talented students as well as teachers and staff. The results of the
Christmas themed doors clearly show the unity of Celeste High School staff and
students working as a team.
