A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Celeste Independent School District will be held on September 19, 2006, beginning at 7 p.m. in the Board Conference Room of the Celeste Independent School District at 207 S. 5^th Street, Celeste, Texas.

The subjects to be discussed or considered, or upon which any formal action may be taken, are as follows:  (Items do not have to be taken in the same order as shown on this meeting notice.)

1.      Call to order.

2.       Invocation.

3.      Members present (president will state if quorum is present)

4.      Public comments /audience participation.

5.      Minutes from previous meeting.

6.      Financial reports.

7.      06-07 budget amendments.                        

8.       2004-2005 Financial Integrity Rating.

9.       Transfer students for 2006-07 school year.

10.  Purchase of new mini-van.

11.  Legal and local Policy Update 78.

12.  2006-07 Textbook committee.

13.  Review bids for Construction  Manager at Risk.

14.  Sale of District property R75512 Block 27a and R75474 Block 13, Lot 4.

15.   Adjourn

If, during the course of the meeting, discussion of any item on the agenda should be held in a closed meeting, the Board will conduct a closed meeting in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter 551, Subchapters D and E.  Before any closed meeting is convened, the presiding officer will publicly identify the section or sections of the Act authorizing the closed meeting.  All final votes, actions, or decisions will be taken in open meeting.
