100% of Juniors Pass All TAKS Tests
The Junior Class showed what they were made of this spring by passing every TAKS test. Every Junior passed every TAKS test, which is an outstanding accomplishment. Congratulations to the Junior Class, their parents, and teachers for an outstanding accomplishment.

Celeste Jr. High Student Council Accepting Donations for Victims of Moore Tornado
Everyone is aware of the devastating tornado that has destroyed Moore, Ok. Many of us that call Celeste ISD family have loved ones that were affected by this storm.
The Celeste Jr. High Student Council will collect donations starting today May 21, 2013 till Friday end of the school day. They can be brought to the Junior High or your campus office. Things that are needed include:
Bottled water, work gloves, flashlights, batteries, diapers and non-perishable food we will not be taking clothes donations at this time
Friday after school Mrs. Garcia and Mrs. Holt will be traveling to Oklahoma City, OK to deliver these items and volunteer where needed throughout the weekend.

Celeste Lady Blue Devils Golfers Compete At State
The Celeste Lady Blue Devils Golf Team competed in the state tournament this past Thursday and Friday. They did outstanding and represented Celeste in proud fashion. The Lady Blue Devil golfers included Morgan Lewis, Laynee Abbott, Anne Rouleau, Caroline Cairns, and Emily Shaw. We are very proud of our Lady Blue Devil Golfers, congratulate them on their trip to the state tournament and look forward to even greater success next year. Go Lady Blue Devils.

CISD Board Recognizes Lady Blue Devil Athletes
Celeste ISD Superintendent Ricky Beadles and the CISD Board of Trustees recognized head girls basketball Coach Amy Herron and members of the varsity basketball team for winning back-to-back Bi-District Championships. The team was presented with trophies that are now on display in the Celeste High School office. Katelynn Clark, Sabrina Chambliss and head powerlifting Coach Travis Millsap were also recognized for their accomplishments in competing at the state level in powerlifting. Katelynn placed 3rd in her weight class and received a state medal.

New! Parent Access to CSCOPE site is now live!
The public CSCOPE site, which includes access to lessons for parents and community members, is now live! Please visit www.mycscope.us or use the CISD website "For Parents" drop-down menu and "CSCOPE Parent Access" link to view the new site. Parents and community members may view CSCOPE lessons and Texas standards through this site. CSCOPE lessons accessible for public viewing will be the same lessons provided to districts, with the exception of material that may be used for grading or student assessment, such as answer keys.
