The Greenville Lions Club is proud to announce their 2017 Scholarship for graduating seniors. The Lions Club is pleased to encourage and assist students in achieving their academic goals by annually awarding 2 scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each. The Northeast TX County & District Clerks’ Scholarship
This is an opportunity for all students graduating or who have already graduated who attend school in our area. Students graduating HS, enrolled in accredited college, university or trade school in the Northeast Texas Region consisting of the following counties: Anderson, Angelina, Bowie, Camp, Cass, Cherokee, Delta, Fannin, Franklin, Freestone, Gregg, Harrison, Henderson, Hopkins, Houston, Hunt, Kaufman, Lamar, Leon, Limestone, Madison, Marion, Morris, Nacogdoches, Navarro, Panola, Rains, Red River, Rusk, Sabine, San Augustine, Shelby, Smith, Titus, Upshur, Van Zandt, Wood. Texas Hospitality Association Scholarship
The Texas Hospitality Association will award graduating high school seniors a total of $10,000 in educational scholarships. Applicants must design a poster to be used in the fight against underage drinking. The theme of the poster must convey the theme “If you are under 21, it’s illegal to consume or purchase alcoholic beverages in Texas.” Contest rules can be found on this flier, or by visiting http://texashospitalityassociation.com/#scholarship. Entries must be postmarked by May 5, 2017.
The Statzer Scholarship
The Statzer Scholarship is awarded to a CHS Senior who wishes to pursue a career in nursing or education. This scholarship is made payable directly to the college or university on behalf of the recipient. Criteria for eligibility includes:

The ECLAT Foundation
We are pleased to announce the 2017 ECLAT Foundation Scholarship for graduating seniors and current college students residing in Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Hunt, Kaufman, Johnson, Parker, Rockwall, Tarrant or Wise counties that intend to pursue or are currently pursuing a 4-year degree at an accredited college or university in the State of Texas. Ozarka “Every Drop Counts” Scholarship
This scholarship is intended for students pursuing degrees at a four-year college or university in the field of earth/environmental science. Got a Spine Scholarship
The Got a Spine Scholarship is sponsored by Arctic Chiropractic. It is open to US citizens who will be full time college students as of October of 2017. Applicants must have at least a 2.5 in their last academic year of study. There are 2 essay questions to answer, and although they deal with chiropractic concerns, the scholarship is available for any field of study. Deadline to apply is June 2, 2017
