DrugFree Greenville continues to sponsor the DWI Dawn Brooks Memorial Scholarship for graduating seniors. This scholarship for $250 is awarded to a 2017 Hunt County graduating senior. Blue Ridge Riding Club
The Blue Ridge Riding Club is a non-profit organization located in Blue Ridge, Texas. Our goal is to promote horsemanship and other community service projects which support our community and surrounding communities. Over the past two years, the Blue Ridge Riding Club has awarded $22,000 in scholarships. Applicants do NOT have to be a member for eligibility. In fact, over half the awarded scholarship money went to nonmembers.
There are three categories of scholarships available:
1. Gold Buckle - member for 2 or more years - $2500
2. Silver Buckle - member for at least 1 year - $1000
3. Bronze - Community Scholarship (nonmember) - $500

Kavanaugh United Methodist Church
The scholarship program at Kavanaugh has several scholarships available, ranging in value from $500 to $2,250 per year. Each scholarship is for a period of one year, payable in two semesters. Financial need is a prime consideration for these scholarships in addition to academic achievement, community involvement, and honors you may have been awarded. Your high school GPA must be a 2.5 or higher. Here is a link to the scholarship application. The deadline to apply is April 2, 2018.
Greenville Daybreak Rotary Club Scholarship
The Greenville Daybreak Rotary Club is offering a $1,000 scholarship payable to the college or vocational/technical school which the recipient will attend. The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to a student who exemplifies the Rotary International Motto of “Service above Self.” Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Hunt Regional Healthcare Foundation
In honor of the late R. Irvin Morgan, MD, life-long Greenville resident and long time practicing pathologist, the Medical Staff of Hunt Regional Medical Center of Greenville awards scholarships each year to a graduating high school senior. You must be graduating from a high school in Hunt County, and you must be planning to seek a career in the medical field (preferably in the fields of laboratory or pathology services). Hunt County Kids Trade/Vocational School Scholarship
Hunt County Kids is awarding a scholarship intended for graduating seniors who will be pursuing a trade or vocational degree at an accredited school or training program. The scholarship is made possible by the citizens of Hunt County who generously donate their jury duty pay. This year’s scholarship will be in the amount of $1,500.
